Prayer times are calculated per city using established calculation methods (via the Aladhan engine) and refreshed daily. Where a committee publishes its own jamaat times, those take priority — committee-published times are marked.

Each masjid profile shows its Jummah time when the committee has published it. City pages also summarize Jummah timings across the area.

Verified means the masjid’s committee has claimed the profile and confirmed its details. Listings without the badge come from public map data (OpenStreetMap) and are awaiting their committee.

It’s a masjid imported from OpenStreetMap — real location data, but not yet managed by its committee. If you serve on that committee, claim it free in minutes.

Yes — use "Add a Masjid" from the directory. You’ll need its name and location; photos and details help. Submissions are reviewed before going live.

Use the "Report an issue" link on the masjid’s profile. If you’re on the committee, claim the profile instead — then you control the details directly.

No. Discovery, prayer times, announcements and campaign browsing are open to everyone. An account is only needed to donate, volunteer, follow masjids or manage one.

Yes — the whole platform is mobile-first, and you can install it from your browser as an app (PWA) for one-tap access to prayer times.

Today the network is deepest in Hyderabad and Telangana with 2,301 mapped masjids across 212 cities, and it grows as committees and volunteers across India join.

Committees post Janaza notices from their dashboard. They appear instantly in the priority lane on the Announcements page, marked time-critical, with timing, masjid and graveyard details where provided.

Online payments are in final setup. Until they’re enabled you’ll see an honest "payments not yet enabled" notice — we never simulate a donation or issue a fake receipt.

Every campaign belongs to a real masjid, enters a review queue before going live, and publishes its goal and raised amounts from real records. Milestones and receipts are documented on the campaign page.

Verified masjid committees. A campaign can’t go live anonymously — it’s always tied to a claimed masjid and reviewed before publication.

Yes — each masjid’s profile lists its own campaigns. Your support goes to the cause you choose, not a general pool.

Once payments go live, every completed donation is recorded with a payment reference and receipt. If a payment can’t be verified, you’re told plainly — no silent failures.

Campaigns will be marked Zakat-eligible only after scholarly review of the cause. Use the Zakat calculator on the Give page to work out what you owe (2.5% of qualifying assets).

Enter your total qualifying assets; it calculates 2.5%. It’s a guide — for complex situations (business assets, debts, gold), consult a scholar.

Yes — you can mark a donation anonymous and your name is hidden from public recognition while the masjid still receives full records.

Pricing is published on the Pricing page. The principle: maximum value reaches the masjid, and any fee is visible before you give.

Funds raised still go to the masjid for the stated cause, with progress documented. Campaigns publish updates rather than disappearing.

Where the platform shows sample records during rollout, they’re marked as demo. Real numbers come from the live stats engine — we never present fabricated data as real.

Payment-gateway costs and any platform fee are published transparently on the Pricing page before a committee enables payments — no surprises inside the flow.

Committees can use the free tier indefinitely and upgrade only when a paid feature earns it — that IS the trial.

Plan (subscription) payments are charged by Masjids.in and are refundable within the period stated at purchase — write to support. Donations are different: they go directly to the masjid’s own UPI, so Masjids.in never holds them and cannot process a donation refund — for anything about a donation, contact the masjid directly.

Any change is announced ahead of time and never mid-billing-cycle. Committees keep what they signed up for through their term.
